Growing up in small-town Connecticut, USA, I would fill my diaries with daydreams of a prince who lived in the woods, searching day and night to find me. The first pages would always say the same thing: PUT THIS BOOK DOWN RIGHT NOW! DON’T READ! PRIVATE! When you have three younger siblings, you can never be too careful. 

But over time, I wanted people to read what I wrote. So I got a job writing werewolf erotica and learned how to put the pop in popular fiction. My words were reaching hundreds of thousands of readers. It was such a high. But a girl can only handle so many snarling Alphas, full moons, and earth-shattering orgasms. I wanted more. 

What could be more? I think advertising can be our must public and popular art form. A good ad is seen by millions of people. A great ad makes millions of people feel seen. And I’ve always been an optimist – I think the best work is yet to come. Now all I need is a team of fellow dreamers. 

Here’s to the next big thing. Maybe we can find it together.
